Midweek Projects: Mural, Mural on the Wall

Greetings!
Welcome back into today's Midweek Projects!

This time, we are going to share with you about painting your wall like this latest work from House of Smichi. It's not just paint the wall like usual with one color, but it's about make your wall feel alive. This art project named mural.

mural
/ˈmyo͝orəl/
noun
a painting or other work of art executed directly on a wall

Painting the wall or mural can be one of the alternative besides using wallpaper in your interior space. Mural can bring a personal taste that describes the interior space's owner, and also gives you a very interesting point of view. You don't have to make murals in every sides of the wall, but take one point that you really love the most to make it the center of the interior space.

One of our favorite mural artist is Koralie who's often collaborate with Supakitch.

You can bring nature into the space or you can play with typography with your favorite quote. Just make sure your space won't be too crowded with all things inside. Keep make it simple and beautiful.

Well, that's all from us today. We'll see you all again soon!

Midweek Projects: Scandinavian Style Dining/Living Room

Greetings!
Welcome back into this week's Midweek Projects by House of Smichi!

We are still continuing our last project of Scandinavian style kitchen for a special client. And today we move into the dining/living room.

We choose to make an open and combined the dining and living area. It's a not-too-big house so we must combine two rooms into one. We choose the dining room and living room.

Our client really likes reading and has so many books inside her home. So we make a small library inside the dining room. She loves to spend her reading time in a cozy place, but not in the bedroom. And she also loves eating while watching the TV. So we make a comfy bench with fluffy pillows and a big table with extra storage at the bottom of the bench.

Well, that's all for this week! Don't miss this Weekend Projects because we will reveal inside the bedroom in Scandinavian style.
So we hope you enjoy and thank you for reading!
