Daily Pictures: One Way

Greetings!
It's been a while since my last visit to Jakarta these past few weeks. Lucky me, the time is perfect to capture a picture that I was dreaming to capture it since long ago.

This is a picture of a crossing bridge to get to the TransJakarta bus stop. I love when no one's around the bridge earlier today so I can capture this silence bridge. Well, it's not that creepy way. I just love how the bridge like separate all the buildings on the side symmetrically. I don't know, I just love this view and maybe if there's a chance, I will put my chair here and enjoy the view.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Color Therapy: Green Wall Color Ideas

Greetings!
Hello October and happy weekend everyone! Today we've got inspiration of color from the green wall outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Jakarta.

Today's color scheme idea reminds us about the rainy season we have here in Indonesia. Where all the greenery becomes greener, while the sky mostly cloudy and gloomy, waiting for the rain falling down. The colors bring us into calming and serene ambiance.

Let's talk about each colors!

Parrot Green
First we have what we called Parrot Green color from the greenery palette. The color is a little bit soft but still strong. It brings us the coolness and natural color into the space. It also brings you a brightness soul to clean the energy and make you peaceful. It will tell us to grow bigger and better.

Lime Green
Lime Green is yellowish green from the greenery palette. The color brings you freshness and energetic feelings. But doesn't like lime, the color will give you sweet memories about a space because you can feel so cozy and alive inside the room. It brings you positive vibes and a new spirit to continue life.

Cloud Grey
Although most grey colors brings you a gloomy feelings, but this Cloud Grey can give you brightness yet calmness into the room. The color consists much white than the grey color that will bring your neutral and quiet space. The color is good for you who wants to have a hideaway place around the house.

Grey
Basically grey is an unemotional color. But sometimes grey can neutralize the bright colors inside the room. Too much grey can make you feel so depressed because it's dark and gloomy. But grey can be solid rock and stable. And it's a color of maturity and responsibility. And grey also can brings you an elegant and formal vibes into the space.

Here are some gallery that we're taken from the Pinterest. Enjoy!

That's all for this week's Color Therapy session! We'll see you all again soon!

Daily Pictures: Neo Gothic Architecture

Greetings!
This view is so inspiring me to create more inspiring art.

This is a facade picture of Cathedral Church in Jakarta. It's located in front of the biggest mosque in South East Asia.
This church has a neo gothic style architecture, with symmetrical shape and form from the bottom to the top. I always admire old times architecture because they can create an everlasting art.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Daily Pictures: Week of Heritage Buildings

Greetings!
We are back again with photo of the day!

This week we choose some of the heritage building to share with you that exists in our surround town. Heritage building can tell you thousands stories about everything, the age, history, and also the owner. Mostly our heritage building made in the colonial era, when Dutch colonize Indonesia around 1600s to 1940's.

But unfortunately, so many old buildings that in really bad condition so the earlier government decided to destroy most of them. Well, we guess the best way to preserve the heritage is restoring the building, fix the broken and recondition the look.

But, here are some of the heritage buildings that we can capture lately to summarize three days earlier when we can't blog the photo. Enjoy!

Photo #1
Bogor Presidential Palace

This picture I took from the back of the palace which can be seen from Bogor Botanical Garden near the small lake to separate the palace from the garden. I guess when England took control of the Indonesian government, Raffles connect the palace and the garden to surround the palace with garden.

Photo #2
Museum Bank Indonesia

This picture I took when I was have my museum tour few weeks ago. The building has a symmetrical shape with two big courtyards. It's so beautiful at night when the lights are on and make this building so dramatic.

Photo #3
Building in Kota Tua, Jakarta

At the last visit to Kota Tua, Jakarta, I pay attention to one of the interesting part of the place. This is part of the old house that was destroyed years ago and wrecked naturally. The inside of the building is gone. Only left the outer wall to keep whatever inside. Although it looks creepy, but this is the most beautiful part of the place to take pictures in.

We guess that's all for today's Daily Pictures. We'll see you again soon with another pictures of heritage building for this week!

Greetings!
This is our OOTD. Enjoy!

Last week we have an unexpected trip to the National Museum in the central of Jakarta. It's an educated place to know everything about Indonesian art and culture from ancient times up to now. There are ancient statues that came from centuries ago when Indonesia was not even a country, but small kingdom rules the small area.

And fortunately, this place has beautiful spots to take pictures, like we did to captured our outfit that day. Well, wait for no longer! Enjoy!

That's all for this week's style. We'll see you again soon!
