Style It Tuesday: Today I Am

Greetings!

Being casual is definitely what I am today. Because for me casual means I can move easily, in my closet the most, and also my favorite.

I love denim so much and whenever I feel so lazy to dress up more stylish, I always pick one of my denim collections and wear it with casual tops. Today I am wearing my overall denim (some say it's monkey pants) with my denim look blouse. I love to make it simple to look more casual but still good. And paired them with my all time favorite classic sneakers from Skechers.

Greetings!

Casual outfit also can be combined with many stylish things so it can be a proper outfit in working days, especially when you have a meeting with a client. And sometimes after working hours, we always get a chance to find a beautiful place around the town so we can work with our camera.

Sometimes a corner place on the street can be a great place to stop and taking pictures. This one is a hidden place around the town that's so unpredictable could be a beautiful place for us to strike some poses.

Denim is a marvelous things to be combined with almost anything to create a casual-stylish outfit. No matter if you are a tomboy girl or sweet girl, denim can unite all the different style perfectly.

Style It Tuesday: White and Denim Outfit

Denim has been our favorite outfit because it's simple and can be combined with almost everything. And white outfit makes the style so fresh and stay cool. This time we also wear bags and high heels. We love to mix and match style.

While Sherly Genoveva brings the casual and sweet style and mixed it with saddle bag and postman bag, Malinda Tania combines the look with a flap bag and tote bag, which more bold and modern yet simple.

The point of the outfit is, you can put one you love the most to wear it that day and then combine the style with everything  you have in your closet. You don't have to follow the trend to be outstanding. The more unique your style is, the more interesting you can be.

All outfit we wear is our personal-old-outfits with NO makeup put on our face. We took the pictures at House of Smichi's basecamp with the Nikon CoolPix S6150.

Style It Tuesday: Casual Style in Heritage Tour

Greetings!

House of Smichi is back with casual style while our interior stylist, Sherly Genoveva, collaborates with Malinda Tania.
Few weeks ago, we got a chance to explore the heritage site in Jakarta, Kota Tua. Well, it's a place which has many Art Deco style architecture since the colonialism.

Our outfit that day was denim mixed with the square pattern outfit. We hope you enjoy our outfit!

Location #1: Museum Bank Indonesia, Kota Tua, Jakarta

Museum Bank Indonesia (Indonesian Bank Museum) is located near the Kota Train Station. It is a very well-known if you want to know what happen to Indonesian economic since the ancient era, colonialism era, up to now. The building is very beautiful. It was built on 1828 by the Netherlands government.

Location #2: Batavia Cafe, Kota Tua, Jakarta

Batavia Cafe on the center of Kota Tua is a very lovely Indonesian restaurant for the foreigners who want to fell the taste of Indonesian foods. The place is really beautiful with colonialism that represents Batavia (now Jakarta) in old times.


Location #3: Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics

Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramic is a very wonderful rustic style for some spots. It is well known place to learn about Indonesian pre-historic to nowadays art and ceramic. It's a very quiet place to enjoy all the Indonesian Art.
