Weekend Projects: Small Scandinavian Kitchen

Greetings!
A clean kitchen is a must for health and the joy while cooking. So sometimes although some people have small space for kitchen, they always be reminded to have many compartments and storage to keep all the similar kitchen stuffs together and tidy.

We designed a small kitchen into a Scandinavian look with monochrome colors and red as the accent on the refrigerator and the rug at the small dining area. Because sometimes the room needs a contrast color to make it more fun. With more shelves to put the greenery inside the room and put all the jars together.

Cool Pins: Sweet Cake for The Sweet Ones

Greetings!
For some people (read: pâtissier) cake may have been a great canvas to decorate and make some art on it.

Nowadays, we also know naked cake as one of the pastry art. But sometimes, making naked cake can be exhausting because the canvas is limited to its "material exposed". But pastry chef can nail it with practice and the willing to open their mind. Because we love pastry world so much, and cake also can be one of the party decoration's element. Here are some finds from the Pinterest that surely can be your ideas for party or the improvement of your work. Enjoy!

It's so lovely isn't it? Naked cake can be one of your choice to create something beautiful. It can be more challenging to do some art on it.

Style It Tuesday: Today I Am

Greetings!
Being casual is definitely what I am today. Because for me casual means I can move easily, in my closet the most, and also my favorite.

I love denim so much and whenever I feel so lazy to dress up more stylish, I always pick one of my denim collections and wear it with casual tops. Today I am wearing my overall denim (some say it's monkey pants) with my denim look blouse. I love to make it simple to look more casual but still good. And paired them with my all time favorite classic sneakers from Skechers.

MondayFest: Live In The Moment

Greetings!
Now we're still talking about the first day of the week that some people may feel so lame and not happy about it. But hey! If you seize your Monday well, I promise you, you will be sooo proud of yourself in the end of the day. So, let's we live in the moment!

You can live your moment today or be sorry for the rest of the week.
Sometimes we feel so lazy to start Monday again. Sometimes we wish the weekend time stop and rewind. But we all know, that it's all impossible.

That's why, I always remember the phrase Carpe Diem to make my body move and keep the spirit to do something better today. We just have to live in the moment for a while. No matter it's the time to work, holiday, party, or parenting. Sometimes it will give a better mood for the rest of the day.

Live in the moment also can make us count our blessings that we've got last week or whatever we've done a job to do today. That we can seize the day very well. Writing down the goals you want to achieve everyday can help you to live in the moment while your mind is set to seize the day mood.

Carpe diem.
Live in the moment. Right here, right now.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Style It Tuesday: Back to Basic

Greetings!
It's another chance in another casual style.
While me having my white on white outfit, Malinda has her black on black outfit.

We found this greenery wall near the office. While having crowded background, we decided to wear something plain in monochromatic color. While Malinda loves black, I prefer to choose white. All of our outfits are from our closet and we love to make everyday casual to let us move easily considering our works in interior design field.

Enjoy My Book Club - UNSTOPPABLE - The Incredible Power of Faith in Action

Greetings!
I've decided to set my Enjoy My Book Club day in Thursday because it's a FUNThursday! This week I've read Unstoppable by Nick Vujicic.

This book is really blessed me a lot with incredible stories from people who act in faith. Inspired me a lot to be more carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero. Nothing's gonna stop us today to do something good and get the positive vibes.

So many positive messages that Nick tells us in his book. If you have faith and a will to do something, just trust it will be done. Just that simple. But our acts is not complete without prayer and God's will. Like Mother Theresa said, ora et labora!

Midweek Projects: My Bedroom, My Style Part 2

Greetings!
Last Midweek Projects we have seen our latest bedroom project in one perspective. This time, we are sharing with you the area behind the bed.

Right behind the bed is the dresser for doing make up (for the lady, of course) and some additional storage to keep little things in stainless drawers. We designed the mirror behind the peacock painting to give a little quirky feelings yet make the space more functional. And we combined the white color with industrial style desk. It's not that wide enough desk, but it's enough to get some free space while the lady do her thing.

The area behind the bed is basically a walk in closet area. We don't put any divider between the bed and the walk in closet unless a curtain in both side, right and left to make the area get more privacy. This is the unique thing of our design.

Since the room is not spacious enough to build a big walk in closet, the area is still divided into two area for the man and the lady. The difference is, the lady has an area to hang long dresses she has, while the man has enough drawers to keep his things and also shared with the lady (since men are simpler that the ladies).

Between the lady and man area, there's a door that connects to the bathroom. And each area has its own personal full body size mirror and a colorful chair. And also each side has a big window to enjoy the outdoor area too.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!
