MondayFest: It's Rainy Day!

Since we have an internet connection problem yesterday here, so I could post MondayFest now. But no worries, the connection's already in control now.

Let's start the fun!

These past few days the weather was acting so weird all day. 5 mins was sunny and 5 mins later it's raining then sunny then gloomy again. Well, they said here because of the Chinese New Year that will be happened on January 28. It's a belief in my hometown that before the Chinese New Year, it will raining all day. Then after that, the sun comes out.

Apart from the belief, I feel so alive when rainy day has come. It gives me strength to do more and create more. Well, somehow they call this Pluviophile, a lover of the rain; someone who feels joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

Believe it or not, somehow when the weather is gloomy or raining, I will wake up earlier and I don't know where and why, I will get the strength to do difficult things that day and be more creative during rainy days. It feels so energizing.

Then when people mostly face some trouble on rainy days, I feel like I am gonna dancing in the rain. It's fun!

This is the last week of 2016. And yesterday most of the world celebrated Christmas together.

It doesn't matter what your color is, it doesn't matter what your faith of religion you have. We live as the world citizenship. Let's spread love, joy, hope, and peace, not only on this beautiful moment in Christmas, but everyday.

Christmas is a day of remembrance of what we have done for love and peace this year, everyday. Because what I believe in, God has told us to do something good everyday for others. Others means other humans, animals, and nature. How we treat others nicely, how we help others unconditionally. Let there be peace on earth.

MondayFest: Welcome, Rainy Season!

Greetings!

It's October now so don't forget to bring your umbrella! Especially all of you, our dearest readers who lives in the Equator line countries, because rainy season is here.

Don't be mad because it's rainy day, but when dance with the rain, it will bring you happiness inside.

Rainy season in tropical climate is ranged between September to March. But since the global warming effect, when the rainy season comes is not clear anymore. But this first week of October, especially in our hometown, the sun is like hiding away behind the clouds. Bring the rain falling into the earth. Reminds us of Forks in Twilight movie where Edward Cullen lives.

Raining also illustrate the situation of life that full of tears, problems, any bad things that will ruin your life. It's not the time to hide away and close the door to separate us from the outside. It's time to stand up, open the curtain, and dance in the rain, as many as you can. Keep the faith,  joy will come to you and you'll see the light again. And even a rainbow.

So, what we're gonna say is, let's enjoy the rain!

MondayFest: Live In The Moment

Greetings!

Now we're still talking about the first day of the week that some people may feel so lame and not happy about it. But hey! If you seize your Monday well, I promise you, you will be sooo proud of yourself in the end of the day. So, let's we live in the moment!

You can live your moment today or be sorry for the rest of the week.

Sometimes we feel so lazy to start Monday again. Sometimes we wish the weekend time stop and rewind. But we all know, that it's all impossible.

That's why, I always remember the phrase Carpe Diem to make my body move and keep the spirit to do something better today. We just have to live in the moment for a while. No matter it's the time to work, holiday, party, or parenting. Sometimes it will give a better mood for the rest of the day.

Live in the moment also can make us count our blessings that we've got last week or whatever we've done a job to do today. That we can seize the day very well. Writing down the goals you want to achieve everyday can help you to live in the moment while your mind is set to seize the day mood.

Carpe diem.

Live in the moment. Right here, right now.

MondayFest: Carpe Diem

Greetings!

Most of you may familiar with this quote. This one also inspiring me to make one of the art project for MondayFest.

used to urge someone to make to make the most of the present time and give a little thought to the future.

To make a good future, we must do whatever we can now. It's not about yesterday, it's not about tomorrow, it's about now. What can we do now? Well, what I can say is, "Seize the day!" or in other words, "Carpe diem!"

The term carpe diem is taken from the Latin aphorism, "carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero." or in English this one is translated as, "Seize the day, put very little trust in tomorrow." This phrase doesn't mean we don't have to think about the future, but just a little thought that the future is created from today. It's a very good reminder for starting the week.
