Daily Pictures: The View

Greetings! ❤
Today I was at the Azra Hospital to check out the progress of maintaining the roof.

This is the view from the front corner and I am so happy to see this result. The Bougainvillea flowers coloring the color palette perfectly. And the greenery makes the coffee kiosk fresh. It's still in the progress to complete the view of the coffee kiosk.

As a designer, I am beyond happy because my 2D pictures became reality. The hardwork has became a wonderful presents at the beginning of this year. Plus, I can get more experience to do something different and sharpen my brain, especially the part of creativity and logic. Yes, sometimes making a project needs logic too! It's important.
I can't wait to see the whole picture of this coffee kiosk at February when all the activities begin.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Daily Pictures: New Perspective

Greetings! ❤
This time I get a chance to learn something new which a little bit out of my knowledge. It's about hospital and healthcare facilities.

Although I learned many things in college, but just a little of the knowledge I got that I can use in this working time.  I only got the basics for interior designer at school. But now, facing the real world, interior designers must learn new things by themselves. And sometimes they got from learning by doing. In college not everyone got everything to learn. Like this time, I get a chance to improve a hospital to be better.

Hospital is one of the subject I tried to avoid in college since it's harder than any public buildings and areas, it also has so many rules in every elements inside the project. Well, I did hospitality project for my last semester project. But since my friends mostly from Medicine faculty, I was kinda getting more interest for healthcare world. And this time, I have a real job to do a better healthcare facility.

So, to improve my knowledge about hospital and healthcare facility and systems, I went to Universitas Indonesia's library to satisfy my thirst of knowledge about hospital and healthcare. It was a very fun journey between my awkward moments in a new place, but I think I could got through it successfully.
I choose the book Building Type Basics for Healthcare Facilities and Hospital and Healthcare Facility Design.  I hope by reading these books, I can get what I need to design a better healthcare facility.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Daily Pictures: It's Reading Time!

Greetings!
The other side of my desk for reading books.

Most of my books are my old collections which I still read up to now. I always take care of my books well that I cover them with plastic covers so nothing will destroy the cover itself. I love bring my book to read everywhere, to the site, while sitting in the train, and when I am eating (well, it seems not appropriate, but this is how I can eat. :D).

I love reading most of the genres that exists. Sci-Fi to non fiction, autobiography to fantasy. They are all too fascinating for me. I love to read since I was young (so that I have my glasses now). I used to read comics too, my favorite one is Assassination Classroom by Yusei Matsui. But my most favorite comics for all time is Imadoki by Watase Yuu.

Right now I am reading First Term at Malory Towers by Enid Blyton. This book is set in around year 1940's and I think it's very interesting how the life would like at that time. Basically I love reading!

Daily Pictures: Wednesday Production

Greetings! ❤
Well, every Wednesday I usually produce one interior design creation from my fresh ideas. These past days, I used to do it after back home from my on going project's site visit.

Although I am so tired, I still do my creation on 3D illustration after supervising at the site. It's my job and I do it based on curiosity and I feel like I have to keep my creative brain working, unless I can't sleep at night that well. It's more tiring.

Usually when I am stuck on ideas, I doodle. It distracts me from upset feelings and cheer me up a bit. So I always have my drawing book near me. I love to draw cartoon characters, I don't know why. It's so entertaining and fun.

My obsession is to draw urban view, but my result always made a distortion view that I am too ashamed to share it with anyone else. I still can't do quick sketch of something. I still can't draw realistic stuffs.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

Daily Pictures: Creativity Begins on Monday

Greetings!
My art & craft desk would be so messy on Monday. I love doing art project on Monday early in the morning.

I always start the first working day of the week with something boost my mood. One of them is making an art project. It keeps my sanity among those smallest details I have to do that make me dizzy all the time. And morning is the time when I feel so awake, body and soul.

Making an art project for MondayFest is one of my activity to varies all the design things I do. I can't stand to do one particular work everytime in my life. I must explore everything that I love to do. And Monday is my favorite day to sharpen my creativity mind. Although Monday sometimes makes me depressed with all the routines that I may not like. But messy desk with art projects makes me alive.

Daily Pictures: Lazy Sunday

Greetings! ❤
This is how my Sunday spent.

Today is a new #photochallenge week. While last week I have to try to capture my breakfast in a nice way and arranged the food in a beautiful way, this time I let you all know what's on my desk and what i do on the next 7 days ahead. I call it #whatido #photochallenge week.

Some of you might wondering what I am doing as an interior designer who runs a design and built interior company. I may be looked walking around the street in daylight, not in the office, and in frequent days, I share with you my art projects and everything i love to do in House of Smichi.

Sunday is my lazy time to make plans, read some books, get some inspirations, listening to my favorite music, watch my favorite movies, and of course, blogging. Although it looks like a lazy Sunday, but that's not right. In Sunday, I pull out all of my creativity brain to plan everything for the whole week ahead. Most of my times will spent in front of my desk, thinking how to make my plans work.

My desk is messy with paper and stuffs. In the afternoon, I take a break to read good books and watch movie. And in the night, I continue to get some inspirations. I love surrounding with the rainbow color pens, colorful paper, unread books, my notebook, and my drawing book. And the picture describes my messy desk best.

Daily Pictures: Fruits in The Morning

Greetings! ❤
It's my 2nd day of photo challenge for my theme of this week, My Breakfast. Besides I can eat healthy food in the morning, I also can improve my photography skill of food.

Since the sun hasn't come out yet when I captured this photo, I need a lighting help from my desk lamp besides the general lighting in the kitchen (note to self: I need to rearrange the lighting system in my kitchen). Well, I am not a pro photographer, but at least I am going to by learning step by step in the photo challenges that I plan to do it every week.
Wish me luck! 😁

Daily Pictures: Healthy Breakfast

Greetings!
OK, I skipped my past two days for daily pictures since I travels to Jakarta. But I am back with another theme of the week: my breakfast. Well, this is my breakfast for this morning.

Last month I decided to start a healthy living with more veggies and fruits. Start all the healthy things in the morning for my breakfast and end it at night for my dinner. It's a great journey to end this year I think and start to continue it in 2017.
Check out my other Blog about my journey to live in a healthy way.

Well, I decided to make this theme as my photo challenge for this week since I can make a good composition for photography learning. It's not that simple though when you arrange a food photo shoot because it needs to be looked simple but beautiful. That's why I decided to learn from it.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!

This train has been so  deserved well for every commuters who work in other area besided Bogor like Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. They call it Commuter Line. Nowadays, the trains are a lot better with some good improvement, inside the train and also the area in the station. Although sometimes the trouble attacks, but still, train has been my favorite public transportation.

Daily Pictures: Harmony in Unity

Greetings! ❤
Yesterday when I captured a beautiful view when I was in the train station. It was a combination of blue mountain, colorful train, and the greenery.

It was a beautiful day in the morning when I was on my way to Jakarta yesterday. Blue sky without clouds made the Mt. Salak look so clear in blue. And there's a train parking, a colorful one. At first, I just want to take the Mt. Salak picture in a good angle. But I didn't think I can get a beautiful combination.

Daily Pictures: Silhouette

Greetings! ❤
I am grateful today I can capture a nice view from where I stand to wait this evening.

These past two days, the sky has been so clear and no rain at all in the afternoon, but not in the night. Although the weather is so hot because it doesn't rain, but the sky in the afternoon is so lovely, especially today. God really has a great sense of art when He painted the sky like this. I am thankful I can enjoy the view because I am amazed for His work.

Daily Pictures: Shoes to Wear

Greetings!
This is what I am thankful for today.

Sometimes you forget to thank for all the things you have and keep on hoping you can have something better.
This is my shoes for the last two years that always accompany me in running int he morning session. But since it's one of my often-to-wear shoes, I think it's time to retire it now. I usually use it when I have to go on a walk in a long distance. Yes, I love to walk whenever I can. But I am thankful I have this shoes that so light-weight so I can walk easily.

Daily Pictures: This View

Greetings! ❤
I captured this view on my way to work this morning. This is what I am grateful of today. While down below's lying all the dead, you can still enjoying the view and do more kindness to everyone you meet.

Although half of the Mt. Salak this morning was covered by the clouds, but this view is so inspiring since I was surrounded by the dead down in their graveyard. This morning was so silent so all you can think is only your life and how you'll live through it. Like Ellen Degeneres said, "Be kind to one another."

Well, maybe I am weird, but graveyard with this good view is my favorite place to sit down and think. 😁

Daily Pictures: One Way

Greetings!
It's been a while since my last visit to Jakarta these past few weeks. Lucky me, the time is perfect to capture a picture that I was dreaming to capture it since long ago.

This is a picture of a crossing bridge to get to the TransJakarta bus stop. I love when no one's around the bridge earlier today so I can capture this silence bridge. Well, it's not that creepy way. I just love how the bridge like separate all the buildings on the side symmetrically. I don't know, I just love this view and maybe if there's a chance, I will put my chair here and enjoy the view.

Daily Pictures: A Line Between

Greetings!
There's a line between two different things; good and bad, earth and sky, people's way and vehicles'.
This is our photo of the day.

"Please stand behind the yellow line for your own safety."

Sometimes the line keep us in safest world, but sometimes the line is a barrier for us to grow up and improve in the eye of the storm. But analyze your world first so you won't across the line and get into trouble.

That's all for today. We'll see you all again soon!
