How's your day so far? We hope that your day is wonderful as ours. :)

We wanna give you some info about who House of Smichi is.

Basically we open an interior design consultant in Bogor, in the West Java Province, Indonesia. We design interior space from residential, including apartment to commercial space, and also party decorator. Not only that, we are also design office space, and window display. But our working area is not limited only in Bogor. We also available to work outside Bogor. So far, we've designed some commercial spaces in Jakarta, Kendari (Southeast Celebes), and Pontianak (West Borneo).

At first we build and run our business, we only design and draw. But now, we have our own human resources as our team and our friends, and own our place that we called HoS workshop. We're not only design and draw, but now we design, draw, and build your dreamed interior space.

Rainy Monday!

Let's begin another week in January with high spirit and fun! Don't let the rain and gloomy sky turn your mood down.

House of Smichi is really excited about the next project we do in February. We prepare a little party! Just wait for the sneak peek of our work. It's really a new adventure and new project. Surely is fun! :)

Pantone Color 2014: Radiant Orchid

Say hello to Radiant Orchid color for 2014!

I feel the warmth, richness, and beautiful everytime I see this color of the year. If you raise an orchid (or more) you'll know why. This color brings you peaceful state of mind and relaxing mode. 

You can mix Radiant Orchid colors with green, white, and turquoise, and even with black color too. It fits with the combinations of earthy colors too. In interior design field, with shades of warm shade of lighting, the color looks perfect. You can use it as dominant color or just an accent. Play with neutral colors.

Or you can bring this pastel colors into your things.

Radiant Orchid is also great for outdoor too! Make it rustic or bold theme.

Play with your color and make it beautiful! You can play with your wall covers with painting or wallpaper, or you just put it simply enough as you use the fabrics for the pillows and cushions. Welcome, Radiant Orchid!

White and Grey Closet

We ended the year 2013 by finishing the closet project in Bogor Nirwana Residence. We're really happy can satisfied our client because House of Smichi can meet their needs and wants.

It's a small space built in closet without right and left, and behind wooden body. We're added the grey color to match with the wall color and to make the closet is not to giant when it's closed.
The weather while we're doing this project is clearly shiny with full of sunshine from morning to afternoon. You can see the Mount Salak view was so clear! :)

Finally we can see the progress for our latest design work! House of Smichi attacks Jakarta! Our Groovy Booth is located in Citywalk Pasar Mayestik, Kebayoran, Jakarta. Our workshop friends are still working on the finishing touch.

Halloween Decoration!

Hey, everyone!

After few sneak peek on our Twitter and Instagram, now, we are proudly presents the full Halloween Decoration on our working station! The decoration is very affordable to be made.
Tadaaaa...

The wreath we made is from scrapped papers that is built to be rounded and cover them with ribbons.

So as the pumpkins! But this time we covered them with orange acrylic paints. It is really fun! And don't think that you have to spend much money to make great decoration. You can use all the things around you! :)

And for some stuffs like the lantern and the candles, we bought from local ACE Hardware.

Lastly, this print that I got from A Night Owl Blog decorated with myself made glittery purple frame.
